i used this previously and got fed up with it .

There is Dragon Naturally Speaking that works properly with Indian accent. But it costs a bomb.

I have IBM Via Voice Indian Edition original CD. If you want, I can sell it to you for 500/- + shipping. This is my cost. So I am not making any profit out of it

You are right. But you can never predict about passionate programmers. They have even developed a whole OS for free So, there may be some free speech recognition out there. Keep trying, all the best and do let us all know if you come across a good free software for speech recognition
