What Is Overcloking

I Have Searched Google It Says It Is Used To Increase The Performance Of

Your Computer Can Anbody Tell Me How To Do It

I Have

Asus P4GE-MX Motherboard
Intel Pentium 4 2.40 Ghz
768 Mb Ram
64mb Onboard Video Card

Please Help

runing any computer peripheral (proccy/ram/gfx card) at speeds greater than their stock speeds is overclocking.

Friend that's easy increasing the clock speed of your cpu or gpu proccessor is called overclocking. For example if your proccessor speed is 2 ghz and you want to increase it upto 2.3 ghz then this will be called overclocking.

I suggest you look for FSB in wiki and follow the links. U'll understand what is overclocking.

Dont read the below lines now. read after you understand whats overclocking.......

I know u didn't go thro wiki.....

anyways...to overclock u should increase the FSB and/or the proc's i/p voltage. You can do this thro' BIOS. There are already umpteen threads on overclocking. Heres one.....

this might not be for ur proc...but its almost the same.
