am I getting cheated from my ISP?

i have broadband(?) internet connaction at home . I have some data transfer limit of 1 gb per month , I am using a software NETMETER to monitoring day by day data transfer . Now I see netermeter saying in this month I have uploaded 20 mb and downloaded 180 mb . So net data transfer is 200mb . then I am logging to my accounts section for my ISP provider's website . there it is different . they r saying data transfer is 300 mb total . So do u think they r cheating ? I use youtele broadband ( again Broadband ?? )

You may have downloaded 100 MB before you installed Netmeter.

NO, netemeter starts with my windows, I never press it to shut down, and before taking ISP I have installed netmeter , I checked the sessions also ....no sessions r missing .

i am however a bit suspicious dat dataone doesn't show correct usage records.

yup....dataone cheated me too cause my DUMeter's records and their records never matched and when I contacted them bout my prob, they gave me silly reasons that I may be ignorant about some automatic updates, etc..
As if that doesn't get recorded in DUMeter.

yup.. i too have iqara connection but the unlimited plan .. talk to the customer care and get it verified..and tell u wat.. threaten them tht if they don make necessary corrections, u'll change ur isp.. worked for me wen the iqara/you tele guys didnt turn up to my place for installation, they came the very next day!!

I download huge amt of data during night unlimited and do casual surfing in morning and evening hours still my bandwidth usage according to dataone's website is about 1.6 gb in 15 days(last month).They are surely cheating cause i experience dial up like speeds in non-night unlimited hours then how can i download-upload so much data.Also my vista update is set to manual

how u got bill of Rs. 7000 on Rs. 900 uL plan ????

getting data usage plan or hours plan (limited MB/hours plans) from any ISP is of heavy risk for customers.... b/s no isp is secure in today`s world.... if by some virus/trojan, ads or some hack , if ur data usage exceed, what will u do ???? no isp take responsibilty.... So use unlimited plans always......
