How to create an own ftp server

dear viewers ,

can anybody tell m ehow to create my own ftp server through my pc. i,ll be switch on my pc for more than 15 hours a day. i,m using brodband net connection. so please tell m ehow to create one

Which OS have you got mate?
You can either use either ftp server software or make use of Microsoft IIS server depending upon your OS.
Does your ISP give you a static IP or a dynamic IP?
Bulletproof ftpserver,serv-u ...There are many available choose one according to your needs.
But remember having a ftp server is one thing & securing it is another.

Dude I've already given you enough info.Upon that you havent even given proper details & not answered my questions?
I've mentioned a few software,have you tried them?
Did you read their respective manuals?
Phew anyways download Serv-u.Read the documentation & inspite of that you are facing problems then please ask here.

ha ha ... nice question! Considering that SIFY calls its 40kbps connection as broadband!

Hathway calls a 32kbps(kilobits per second) connection as BROADBAND!
