Default best agp 8x card


which is the best 128mb agp 8x graphic cards available in market?pls also mention the price. what will be the price of motherboard supporting that card?
i am currently having p-4 2.26 ghz, 533 mhz FSB motherboard with no agp slot. will this
processor be supported in new 8x slot motherboard which u have mentioned?

well u can get a 865/875 mobo which has a AGP 8x slot

well forget the best AGP 8x card ,

whts ur budget ??

choose the card which falls in ur budget

whts the use of a card which is awesome but u cant afford it

well for the 128MB segment (8x) the best competitors are XFX Geforce 6600GT and The ATi Radeon 9800Pro.....the 6600 gt(XFX) can retail at 14.5k and the Radeon 9800pro (Club3d) can cost around 13.5k approx

the mobos will be the ones that Sourabh sugested and yea they will easily support ur P4 2.6 Gigz proccy

Club 3D 9800 pro cards are giving some problems as reported by many on tech-arena.

go for gainward 6600gt . its better than the the xfx version. if u want a cheaper card go for geforce fx 5950 or 5900 or a ati card which is better. sorry i am very poor at ati cards. but i heard people say that atis have driver problems.

ATi driver problems is a myth

i look no further than OMEGA DRIVERS

for the newer ATi cards from 9200 onwards Omega drivers are awesome

infact ATi themselves tahnked Omega and accepted they ran the cards well

wht else does one need !!

ppl pls have a luk at the top of screen...
u'll find a button which states "SEARCH".....
u are allowed to make full use of that button...
