hey guys i was just wondering so as to wat is the life cycle of a cd , cd-rw, dvd, dvd-rw , i mean hw many times can they read and written.. plss cud u provide sources if u want to prove ur point.. thxx..

as far as i know, if dye-layer of cds, dvds r of high quality, it can be protected by very long time.... but cheap cds have not good quality dye layer...thats why get scratches on cds and useless by time being....
use proper case with cloth if u use cheap cds....

but Disks can last 30 years if given proper care...
