Default Combo Drive


I'm planning to buy a combo drive.....please suggest me between LiteOn or Sony!!

I would have to say sony, it would be the best combo drive.

Buy Sony CRX320A/U, 52x/32x/52x/16x Internal CD-RW & DVD-ROM Combo Drive......nothing else.........

Hmm dont go for combo!

buy a
DVD drive : rs. 1500 (sony/liteon)
CD writer : rs. 1300
overall = rs. 2800-2900.

Combo will be chaeper by around 15% , and u have two roms, so go for two roms.

Else, if u want to stick with combo, then fine, buy liteon or Benq .

I agree with what drgrudge says. 2 separate drives could be better than combo.

Dude, i mentioned DVD rom not a writer...
So it will only read them.

Writer will cost in excess of rs. 4000.

Presumably, Sony optical drives are manufactured by LiteOn. So for all practical purposes the drives are the same.

combo drives dun mean they include a dvd writer
and dvd roms cant write dvd's

GO for either Sony or Lite-on but not for SAMSUNG in any case. U can also consider LG.
