Default free alternative to powerpoint


please tell me if there is any free alternative available for powerpoint and
word . please mention the link where it is available and also its download size.

you can use open office for it. It's a free open source alternative for power point.
Dig the digit cd's for it .

I would strongly suggest OpenOffice.org

Actually it is same as StarOffice from sun, but without any support. If you want support, you can buy staroffice. But OpenOffice is free. Go for it. It is available for Windows as well as Linux. I am using it since quite some time and I don't miss Word/Excel at all

Hi
The above are all good alternatives to MS Office as a whole. If you want only Powerpoint alternative, and dont have it on a magazine CD, downloading them will be painful as they are about 50 MB (atleast, OpenOffice is...). Another alternative is Powerbullet Presenter which gives EXE Presentations. Size is 2.5 MB and available at http://powerbullet.com/
