Default Turning on DMA


i have p3 with 256 mb ram & has cd rom & cd writter
i want to turn on the dma option in win xp (Pro)
i see that the dma option of hdd is on (Made on through the BIOS setting)
but of cd rom & writter it is off By NERO drive info
How to turn on dma in win xp pro

Right click My Computer -> Manage -> Device Manager -> IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers -> Secondary IDE Channel -> Advanced Settings page.

From here, you can turn on DMA for CD-drives.
