Program Shutdown

Hello,
I am getting one error in win-2003 stating that PROGRAM HAS TERMINATED AND SHALL BE SHUT DOWN WITHIN 45 SECONDS. I do not have option to shut down myself. The system automatically shuts down. Any one guide to overcome this problem.

its a virus by some name called W32... rest i dont remember.I also got it once. try to scan ur computer for viruses in safe mode and check for any unwanted processes. May be u will have to format ur system.

you are most certainly infected by blaster worm
( although its shutdown message is a bit different )

Try typing "shutdown-a" in the run menu...it might work. It works for a similar error message found in XP infected with Blaster.

its not shutdown-a it is shutdown -a................. there is a space after shutdown. make a batch file of this and execute it whenever message appears. also download the removal tool for blaster worm (from i think symmentec's site).
