Default low level formatting


can any one tell me how to do low level formating

Low-level formatting is very stressful to the hard disk. Therefore, modern hard disks are usually protected from casual low-level format such as the low-level format option in BIOS. They may appear to accept the low-level format command, but will not actually do so.

For those times when a hard disk must be low-level formatted, the manufacturer usually has a downloadable tool on their website.

You can use a software for this. I have one DOS based software called ZTEST. PM me and give me your email address. I will mail it to you.
