u can encode it using virtual dub and use its cuttin feature

or use tmpgenc to encode it to vcd ( mpeg1 ) format and u can skip the first few problematic frames

Does the player's seek bar hangs while playing the problematic frames?then using VCDGear, do a conversion to mpeg from mpeg/dat, with the option Fix mpeg errors.

damn i click on reply and swatkats already there
anyways like i said in tmpgenc there is an option where u can select the part of file u wanna code
this HAS to work
do trial and error till u find the frames that do not cause any trouble
set that as ur start frame and ur end frame will be -1 as default !!
let it code
