how do u know if anyone has installed keylogger

Hi,

Is there anyway to know keylogger installed on my pc?
I have heard that using keylogger anyone can get my passwords etc.
My system is used my many people in my absence. Is there anyway to know if they have installed any such software.

Set Poilcies to disable install on ur PC..

Create Local User account for other user...

Use a good AV like KAV.. they automatically detect keyloggers....and interup the install..

Else ur r ******.

Dude i would not call a keylogger a good one if it leave it entries in ADD or Remove programs

Days gone when Crtl+Alt+Del shows all running progs.. now key loggers like Perfect KeyLogger are purely invisible...

You have to use tools listed to detect Perfect KeyLogger...

Invisible mode makes it absolutely invisible to anyone. Ardamax Keylogger is not visible in the task bar, system tray, Windows 98/2000/XP/2003/Vista Task Manager, process viewers (Process Explorer, WinTasks etc.), Start Menu and Windows Startup list.

i think you just want to know whether a key logger is running or not!
download KILLPROCESS. it shows you all the current running processes (even those which Windows Task Manager does not show. You can kill the process through KILLPROCESS.

Dude tell me one thing truely.. how many times you log on ur PC and are in habbit to check via Task Manager or any process viewer about any malware running most of the times u don't so best habit is to install a good AV like KAV better to have KIS and update ur OS and AV daily...

simply download and install Spybot Search n Destroy and Bazooka Scanner.
they'll detect n remove the keylogger themselves.

peoples use HjT only when they are stucked or system responses slow...

Keylogger silently captures the info. wihtout slowing down the sys....

So mostly peoples are screweda at most of the times....

Yep almost all good ones like KAV, KIS, bitdefender... provided both AV/AS and OS are upto date
