LG all format DVD re-writer out!

hey guys,
This all format dvd writer from LG is out in the market man..has anybody checked it yet..open to reviews form the nerds..well all my life i have extolled this suggestion that there should be a player which can do everything(hope my wishes came true) i blv if any cos can produce something unique like this,its enough to capture the market..well lets hope this venture is worthwhile for LG..it says that it can read/re write on almost all formats.price is 5490..let me know if its worth its salt..

Yes LG can read and write DVD-RAM as well.. But DVD-RAM disks costs like 10 times as much as DVD disks. And you barely fidn DVD-RW 2X media in india let alone 4X media... But pioneer also lets you read DVD-RAM disks.. From what I have seen its not as good as NEC or Pioneer.. More in line with liteon.
