my ip address dosent change?????

hi i have airtel brodband connection and a 64kbps plan. i heard that ip adress of connections like mine keeps changing everytime i diconnect and reconnect from the internet.
but lately i have been keeping an eye on my ip adress when i coneect to the internet and i have found that it does not change.
i want to change it how do i do it????

The CASE might be you are using Static IP Address

If ur using a static IP, u cant

If u subscribes to dynamic IP, then visit the site www.whatismyip.com every time u connect, it does show diff values.
What u enter in the TCP/IP settings are the settings ur comp sees ur modem as, not wat the outside world sees ur modem as...

In India as per as gov regulation (TRAI) only connection above 256 can be called broadband... any thing bellow is not broadband...

Are you using LAN connetion like cable as i think AirTel gives you ADSL connection which will have Dynamic IP...

Get a static ip by paying the airtel people an extra charge for the service.No need to pay extra for a dynamic ip

AIRTEL gives DSL...not ADSL...and I guess the simplest way to change ur ip is restarting ur router..isnt it?

use torpark if you do not want to use your real IP address. It is FREE because it is modified FIREFOX. It is simply great. But is it slightly sluggish.
