Your views on torrents

What are your views on torrents available online? They are very useful to people like me. I go to my favourite torrent site and download the stuff i want.
Instead of installing pirated versions of a software, go to some torrent site, search for the file, download the torrent file and open it with a program like BITTORRENT or uTORRENT. Wait for the contents of file to download. The torrent file just contains the info about the location of files on the web.
This is real file-sharing. I love it. uTORRENT is better than BITTORRENT. Just try it yourself.

What are your thoughts on this?

There are many others file sharing techniques like kazaa,p2p softwares,newsgroups,RS,irc,FXP but among all these torrents have become popular as there is less possibilty of spreading unwanted malicious stuff
