Default phpbb to vbulletin


Right now my friend is using forum with phpbb and he wanted to shift to
vbulletin and i wanted to know if it is possible.
Anyone know if we can shift our database from phpbb to vbulletin.

Yes, its possible.

You need to use Impex from vBulletin to convert the Database from phpbb to vBulletin.

IF you need anymore help....try reading the Impex Manual

But as for me... it was easy Not sure about phpBB but i converted IPB forum of 20000 Members to vBulletin and everything worked like a Charm

but all version of vBulletine is paid... and they are very very strict on implimenting call backs to track any unauthorised installation

Also tell me if there are mods available of all the features of vbulletin in phpbb.

sorry to bother u guys but is there a mod available for the menu bar
like in vbulletin ." like quick links ,todays post, new post,search and all that i mean menu bar like of vbulletin" for phpbb.

any help will be appreciated.

LOL, Use it at your Risk. Yes vBulletin.org is the site where you can find MODS, skins, etc for vBulletin and there are tons of them

You need *license* to download from vBulletin.org but......you know...things dont take time to hit the piracy scene
