Hi All,
as in my title mentioned...
i want to know what all do i have to do to have a website of my own...
which i can modify, add, delete, etc. stuff whenever i want...
is it free to make a website...
can u please guide me in the steps involved in making a website...
and what are the requirements...

1.If its your Website....you sure can modify, add ,delete in it.
2. Free.....yes!. It is upto you....if you want Paid Domain and Paid Webhosting but you can have a Free Webhost and FREE domain like .uni.cc, .tk, .co.nr etc

3. Steps....

• Register a Domain like .com .net etc (Paid) *YOURDOMIAN*.uni.cc, *YOURDOMIAN*.tk *YOURDOMIAN*.co.nr(FREE)
• Find a Webhost (Webhostingtalk.com and FreeWebspace.net are good places to Find hosts)
  I am Webhost myself.....But i dont give Free Webhosting
• Forward the Domain to his Hosting

I can register a Domain for 7.95$/year. I can do Webhosting aswell starting at 5$ a month aswell

Looks like you are new to web hosting. You need an identity, something like an url, say www.yourname.com, this is called domain name. This is never free, you have to buy it. It must be renewed minimum each year. If you can't buy a domain name, then you have to associate yourself to some free web hosting providers. I suggest you try geocities from Yahoo. All you need is an yahoo account. You can host your own website within yahoo and your url would be www.geocities.com/yourname
