I plan to buy a p4 3.2
My useage will be more of games,softwares and MP3. Can somebody please suggest me a good motherboard with lots of features and performance. Please do suggest me a good 128mb graphics card. and also tell which 120gb hdd is best?

yeah man.in other things it can't be called better but sure for real world benchmarks will be about the same range .
say amd 3200 64 may be = 3.0c in app A
amd 3200 64 maybe equal to 3.4e in app B

As an overall both are good,but amd 64 is better and cheaper.

The main thing that P4 outdoes AMD is in graphics intensive applications such as Photoshop or CAD CAM so if ur not that much of a graphics app user then go for AMD like Akshay said cheaper and also better peformance overall.

I would prefer you get something which is available locally. or get it personnaly from some vendor in a city nearest to you.

just google for hardware sellers in india dude. u'll get results much quicker.
and regarding athlon 64 and p4, get p4 only if u can dish out around 30000 bucks and buy a p4ee. otherwise, amd 64 is better or equal tothan any other p4 processor.
