remote desktop conx

Hi,

Can any1 who have already used remote desktop conx to establish the same to a computer which is not in the network tell me how to do it. I have to connect to my system back at India. I have searched to some extent using google but cudnt find any detailed instructions... it wud be helpful if any1 can direct to a link even!

Install Symantec PC Anywhere,and Use the internet ip address for RDC

U need a dedicacted Public IP for the actual RDP to work, which obviously isn't cheap... So U have other options like the Symantec PC Anywhere mentioned by Rakeshishere or u may launch VNC server on your machine and connect it as a VNC client ...
