hi,wen i double click a drive in "My Computer", the contents of d drive is opening in a new window rather than the existing window.. on 'right click' of d drive d 1st option is 'autoplay' instead of 'open'... by d way 'm using xp sp2..
wy such a prob..??!! help....

Try this out!!!
Go to my computer..Then in the Tools menu, choose Folder Options
Then, in the 'view' tab, uncheck this option:

Launch folder windows in a separate process

(I think it is the right option...otherwise search for something like that)

Search for a file autorun.ini in all drives. It should present in the root of the drives, e.g., C:\, D:\, etc. Delete them.
