Default Disappearing quick launch bar


Every time i log off,the quick launch bar disappears...i have to manually make it active(rt click taskbar>toolbars>quicklaunch)..this has statrted happening suddenly for last few days...how do i make it stay?plz help.

Strange!!
Looks like some bug/virus...
Can u plz post ur Hijack This Logfile...

Do this... Expand QuickLaunch in taskbar-righ-click-open folder...
this will open it's folder...

Lokk for contenst there...
delete all you don't want except, IE/Firefox, Desklink and WMP

also check the properties of tht folder... if "hidden" is grayed out then try to Customize>ChangeIcon> Restore Default...

This will restore Quick Launch's properties...

Also check your start-up options, may be some spyware... better post your HJThis Log...

Default prob solved,thanx

thanx for ur replies mates...seems like a virus/spyware was the culprit...surprisingly NAV 2005 detected the threat wherein Ad-Aware,Spybot S n D and Microsoft Anti Spyware all failed to do so!
