Right Off the Assembly Line

Default Help Me Setup RAID


I have a Intel 915GAV Board with a 3GHZ proccessor i wondered if the board supports RAID and if it does could someone be kind enough to give me a step by step method the do it please

Thanks in advance

P.S. I have 2 160GB SATA hard disks

Nope 915GAV Dosent Have Onboard Raid Support Mate......So Sorry No Raid Config Here

allwyndlima is rite ..915GAV not support onboard hardware RAID

but u can use software RAID using windows Disk manegment

Aint Gonna Help Him Out Much Cause Basically If There's No Onboard Raid Then He Cant Configure His 2 SATA Hard Disk's To Give Its Optimum Performance As In The Hardware Raid

Btw Try WinXp Pro Raid 5 Configuring To See If It Help's.....Not Tried This out Yet So No Guarantee's On Anything Mate

for TWO HDD i think no need for RAID-5 ..try to create Spanned volumes
