Default Why does the count of my posts remain the same?

I noticed that for the last 4 or 5 posts that I've posted here it is not adding to my total number of posts i.e. it is stuck at 287 when it should be 291 or 292.

I do give enough time between 2 posts and I've even tried logout login and posting but the count still stays the same.

Posting in the 'bandwidth wastage' section does not increase your post count. Rest everywhere post count increases immediately, along with post. I haven't faced any such problem. I don't enter the 'bandwidth wastage' section much, probably.

I see, but my posts in "Open Source" & "QnA" sections are also not being counted...to be precise sometimes they get counted and yet there are times when they don't get counted.

No, they are being counted. You are confused between when they are counted and when not. Post a reply to this message. I am sure it will be counted.
