Default Blue error Screen in XP

hey guyz i just upgraded my pc to P4,256 DDRAM,intel 82845 Motherboard. I use heavy applications like vb.net and oracle 9i. i m using windows XP (home n pro both).My problem is that after doing everything fine sometimes a blue error screen comes up showing a message :

that error is usually due to a faulty driver.

Some device driver is either faulty or incorrectly configured. The solution is in the support section of www.microsoft.com, I am assuming you are eligible for tech support from ms.

Is the RAM in ur system is in 2 chips or single.

Dude I had the same problem when I upgraded my RAM, then I bought a single chip of 256 MB RAM and since then no BLUE SCREEN of Death.

i m using single 256 RAM. But i found an interesting thing,when i changed my 256 RAM with 128, the error screen stopped coming............... so i guess the problem was with RAM. But i cant use 128 RAM..... so i m going to change my 256 RAM. but i still have some doubts in my mind.

before doing anything else ...
just check if your RAM is really corrupted or not !!
use MEMTEST
or use MEMTEST86
Both are good utilities !
