Default All-In-One giving trouble

I have a PC with Celeron 1.1 GHz;Intel Chipset M/B;128 MB;40 GB; running Windows98se;IE6;Acrobat Reader 6 etc.Recently I've bought a new HP psc 1315 All-In-One and installed it properly to my computer. The Printer and copier is working fine but when I try to scan some thing, it gives an error message saying :-
"An Internal Error has occurred.Click OK to close the program or try one of the following :
- Restart the program
- Restart the PC and try again
-Reinstall the photo and imaging software and try again."

Please help me out of this trouble.

First Uninstall and then Reinstall the Photo/Imaging software and try, if this does not solve ur problem, Uninstall and then Reinstall all the drivers and software for ur Printer.
Also make sure that u have latest Internet Explorer and Adobe Acrobat Reader and DirectX.
