CD not functioning! :(

My CD rom is not working. I checked in the control pannel & it shows this device is working properly? I got it checked and cleaned but nothing happened. Help me out

A Bit More Details Pal Would Surely Clear Things Out Like The Time Of Its Usage,Problem occuring Etc.

Anyways Assuming That The Cd's Lens Is not Able to Read The Discs Then It Definetly Has Got Busted Up Pretty Bad .....In That Case Try no Further(The Lens Cleaners and Stuff) And Rush To Ur Nearest Hardware Shop And Get a New One....

yes, the CD's are working on other devices & i,e got the lens cleaned up

if it is running on other devices throw your cdrom out of the window since it is not worth investing in getting repaired because a new one costs hardly about 600-700 and a writed about 1200-1300 better to buy a writer. its your choice.
