System hangs..help

Whenever I try to connect to the Internet through dial up connection of my PC running Win-XP (SP2) the system hangs. Only after several trial, net can be connected. Plz help

scan ur system wit a antivirus... do u hav a firewall installed??

Must be some Problem with ur PC Being affected by virus/spyware..Use any nice AV/Anti-spyware to have a clean scan of ur PC...and also check for any registry errors!

Post about the specifications about your system,then only we can help.Maybe your RAM may be less or some modem problem.
