Default No Display

When i switch ON the main power, the system automatically starts. But there is no display and no beep. I tried changing the ram slots, cleared cmos settings. But it still does not work.
I use Pentium 4 1.7 GHz
512 RAM
80 GB HDD
845G motherboard

Waiting for reply

^^After this the problem started?Hmm...If it is a ram problem there must be a beep.
Tighten all the power connectors on the motherboard,it looks like power problem.

HI,

I had the same problem for 2 weeks and i could not figure out what went wrong

this happpened after enabling some settings in BIOS

so this was what was suggested and it worked

Hi codename_romeo ,

Thanks for the resolution.

Though I thought about removing the CMOS battery and putting it back i was not sure about doing it will resolved the issue

But after ur suggestion i removed the battery and also swapped the CMOS jumper and restarted the computer

It worked absolutely fine

Thanks a lot
Appreciate it

Cheers
