Default Outlook Express Not Working

My Outlook Express has Stopped working all of a sudden. It was working fine
till the day before. Then I used the "Upgrade to 25MB" trick posted here and
Lo.....The Next Day my OE has stopped Downloading Mails.....

I get the Following Error Message:

Mine is a free Account whic I upgraded to 25MB Just Two Days ago.
If this was indeed the case, then How come I could access my mails
till it was 2MB? Did Microsoft Come to know that I had obtained 25MB
Fradulently

Anyone Else Facing the Same Problem??? Please Help me out Ppl.....

MSN Hotmail no longer supports Distributed Authoring and Versioning (DAV) for free user accounts. Outlook Express uses the DAV interface to connect to Hotmail. Only paid Hotmail accounts will work correctly with Outlook Express. If you configured Outlook Express or Outlook to access your Hotmail account before DAV support was ended, you may still be able to use Outlook Express to open a free Hotmail account. However, eventually Hotmail will no longer support DAV for all free Hotmail accounts.

I have two Hotmail accounts.......First one is a very old one and
the second one is a more recent one.I used to access both thru OE.
So that shows that both of them were configured BEFORE DAV support ended.

Now after I have upgraded them both to 25 MB using the "Florida"
Method, I am able to access Mials thru OE only for the First account
and am facing the abovementioned error with the second (More recent)
account.

My Gripe is not because I am unable to access mails thru OE.But the
fact that it has happened to me after i'd had done the Upgrade thingy. So
I am interested in finding whether this had anything to do with the Problem.
Any other users facing the same kinda problem???

See here, One Guy says:

I suppose that's clear enough, then. I had only tried re-configuring one of my Hotmail accounts and it worked, so there must be some difference in new free accounts that Outlook recognises.

It seems awfully restrictive (and, let's face it, stupid) of them.

NAother one:
Yeah- i looked into this a while ago - hotmail is fine with OE for old accounts but rejects new ones. Interestingly they also blocked sending of emails using OE for a while through hotmail (and emailed me to say so) but it started working again about a week later.

Pity - especially when its rivals are taking up the slack! Someone up at MS HQ needs their head screwed back on - but then it appears that being unscrewed has been a common problem up at Microsoft for a while!
