Question Disabling system root scan in McAfee


Whenever I scan a file or folder by McAfee Antivirus,It first scans Windows\System32 folder.I'm really exhausted by it as it wastes a long time .How can I disble this checking? ?pls help.

i dont use mcafee. but there must be a custom scan option there. so choose what u wish to scan from there.

the most common location for a virus to sit tight is the system32 folder, btw
