Online pictures

Where can i store my pictures/albums online for free?
The minimum restrictions, max storage space.
Of course, I know of Flickr... but they limit my free albums to 3.
Any thing better. and what about preventing photo download?

Try Yahoo! Photos. Its the best now I think. You can create albums, set the rules for sharing etc.

if you have Google Picassa2 installed then use Picassa's WebAlbum

I was also looking for such a thing. Tried some things. Then I felt that Flickr was the best bet. I also thought of buying Pro account, for ~$25. Then this monopoly telecom provider in UAE, etisalat blocked Flickr!


Now, I'll add a Photo Gallery to my blog and get started. Thats the best thing that we can do if you have a site. Mybe I'll add Photo Blog to my site as well if I get good at photography!

I would have around 14mb free space now. I can upgrade my account anytime. I'm actually glad that I didn't go for Flickr!

I'm in India. Bought from the Showroom itself... full original cost 29k!!! Of course, I sold my old Sony cam to the guyz themselves and deducted the price from it
I'll buy a memory card & more spare batteries by Monday. The same accessories as mentioned here.

Yaar ek doubt for u to think too... with 14mb space left... do u suppose u can store all the quality pics u might shoot... each one'll be around 3 or 4mb!!! Kya karega... of course u can reduce the size & quality... but don't u miss the original pic u so carefully shot
I wanna upload the whole original pic & maintain thumbnails too...

thanks, i came to know about it a month ago, i was searchin for a easy way for uploading pics at one go (though Picassa 2 has been on my PC since 1 year)

well about downloading pics, you cant stop that , users can just right click & use save picture as...

I also & already tried once long time back. But the prob's that I get dull-lookin galleries... and the pics've to be agreed upon by some mods there... so takes time to get uploaded for show online.

Of course, they give the same 250mb Picasa images gives and have an additional advantage that pics r then copyright branded for our purpose and no one can download it. Only buy

one question: what r d limitations in flickr?? i just opened up an a/c, and it shows that i've uploaded some % of my total 100mb allocated for this month. how does this work?

100mb per month to be uploaded... & max of 3 galleries for free.

and regarding the galleries, am using sets to categorise the pics, have created only 3 till yet.so sets=galleries?

• 100 MB monthly upload limit (5MB per photo)
• 3 photosets
• Photostream views limited to the 200 most recent images
• Post any of your photos in up to 10 group pools
• Only smaller (resized) images accessible (though the originals saved in case you upgrade later)

First and foremost, photo blog and gallery is a different thing.

I know 14mb is not going to be enough. Thats why I said that I can update my account any time. Having your own gallery gives you total control that you look for.
