Default Maintaining torrent ratio

I've recently started downloaded torrents from private trackers due to higher speeds offered by my broadband.
Now, i have lots of problems maintaining that 1:1 ratio for my torrents.
Eg: If i have a 1GB file, then with my bandwidth at 700kbps, i have to keep my download speed & upload speed both at around 45KB/s.
This way, it takes me twice the time generally needed to download.

What is the best strateegy, you guys use to ensure download finishes as fast as possible, at the same time, maintaining the U/D ratio?

wich software u using??? try using Utorrent or bitcomet...
btw the logic that u r using that if u dont upload than u ll be able to download @ twice the speed is wrong...

u do not need to limit ur download speed to keep the ratio 1:1. download at full speed and then let the torrent seed(keep it active) after it has finished downloading, so that it will keep uploading

i'm familiar with that Rollercoaster, but the problem with me is that i keep my torrents active only 6 hours a day. So, its not possible for me to upload the complete 1GB torrent in a single day.

Join few more private toreentsites like scenepiracy, onlydvdrips, totaltorrents

some also offer you torrents that are free(Download do not cost ratio) but uploads builts them........ set upload limit to 1 and download from multiple sites this way will not get ratio warning too quickly... and can use up your bandwidth... try torrentz for finding very popular torrents that had hell lot of users.... read the info tag donot wanna download some locked or fake torrents........ again also manually add all the trackers listed by search engin.. set upload to 1 and enable DHT you will get a pretty decent speed at them too... Use your private sites for leeching otherwise rare stuff and donot forget to seed .

I remmebered i seeded for almost a month at TD so to get enough ratio to download HD TV Movie and when i had the ratio simply leeched the sucker 5.0 gb in a little over 7hrs at 211kbps average.........

peace

hey u dont have delete the torrent after 6hrs. just leave it in the list.. so it resumes seeding the next time u connect to the net. And abviously the uploading speed is lower then then downloading everywhere so u have to put in extra effort adn time.

Cheers for atleast seriously thinking abt improving ur seeding habits. Most people sont think anywhere near that.
