I hav only two fans in my PC
one at CPU nd other in SMPS
How can i add more fans and where can i add??

@Tech_your_future

I have recently bought an SMPS from a company named CoolerMaster and the cost of SMPS is 5500.00. There is also a special processor fan from CoolerMaster that cost 2500.00. This is a US company and is the best and most expensive company for cooling solutions. I am very happy with the product. But you wont get it in local market and I had to get it from nehru Place, New Delhi.

One can buy a good Graphics card in that amount.
I was talkking abt simple fans for blowing air out and in tp b placed in the cabinet.

I am giving you the best cooling options in your worst heating conditions. For your information having 10 fans in a machine would fail if they are not good quality fans and are not properly placed.

Re: How to keep the systm Cool
I m thinking of placing one fan at the front for popping the hot air out frm Hard disk. Nd one at the side panel to pop out the hot air CPU. Wat do u think?

Re: How to keep the systm Cool
This would have good effect only till you are running less processor hungry applications. If you have more processor hungry applications like games and 3d Max etc. then you require a processor and SMPS cooling solution also. I am telling you all this of my experience that I had about 4 months ago and especially with Dual processors which are very heat intenstive, you need these solutions. In other cases, having two fans that help cross ventilation in the machine body works very well.

Re: How to keep the systm Cool
That is what I meant by good cross ventilation. BUT - you would not get such bodies easily even in Nehru Place. Of couse they exist but you will have to hunt in NP for this and also get the fans installed properly.

That I think is one of the best ways if you do not want to spend on Cooler Master

Re: How to keep the systm Cool
LOL..That wont help..because the hot air would still remain inside despite n no. of holes you do.

Re: How to keep the systm Cool
simplest solution can be to remove both the side panels of the cabinet.
so there is no problem of hot air getting trapped, the whole atmosphere is accessible to ur pc for cooling.
with this u can do with just two fans
on for the smps and the other of processor
I live in Delhi where it is very hot in summers and I do not have an AC
and even with heavy tasks the temp never exceeds 50`c.

Re: How to keep the systm Cool
Keeping the cabinet has one disadvantage ie., build up of dust. But even keeping it closed, I have to open and clean it periodically.

Re: How to keep the systm Cool
I keep my system open all the time. Full ventilation all the time..Less dust accumulation if cabinet kept vertical.
@Manshahia Regarding your problem, you can connect one extra fan to your motherboard and fix it in the back of the cabinet for blowing hot air out.
Or else there are front panel displays available which fit in the extra CD drive locations in the cabinet that displays the current temperature, HD activity etc. You can connect three fans to this as it is directly powered from the SMPS, and similarly monitor their speed and set the active temperature.

Re: How to keep the systm Cool
yes even i keep the cabinet open.. n u cn clean dust occassionaly if it is accumulated .. another advantage is u can quickly take out hard disks/cd/dvd writer & quickly put it back.. almost using it as an external drive (i.e if u want to)

Yah, I am using it too as an external Hard Disk in the way you said. i have not even screwed it to Cabinet, rather kept it on top of a pile of books
