Default "Electronic" question


hey guys.. im workin on a case mod.. so needed some electronic help..
i needed help on creating a momentary switch for operating a 12V circuit.. probably using some logic gates or some IC's..
needs to be like a latch.. on pressin once=turns on, pressin again=turns off.. and so on..

i found some references,, doubtfull bout which to use

1. I have tried it, it works nice.
2. As u r asking to work on 12V & it can work on 12V.

hey tried this circuit out..
but it remains in "on" state..
doesnt evn go off..
ne clue?

i get a 0V reading b/w R1

hey electronic schola's...
wt if i had to run a 2amp 12V(approx) ciruit on this..?? wt changes wud i hav to make?? i already put heat sinks on the TIP31C
n put higher wattage resistors.. ne other changes, so tht it works fine for a long time..(n nothin blows)

Use a 12v relay to run a heavy load.

Get a 12volt spdt relay with contact rating >= load to be driven(in your case 2amp or more).You may also try a pcb mount type(for compactness).
