Did u check ur USB ports first, try connecting some other devices to that port first......
n see if they work

About ur motherboard, its written in the manual, if it supports bluetooth or not, n I had assebled a PC with MSI KT4 ultra, which said it had bluetooth, but the catch was, u needed to get a dipole antenna to activate it, if u dont have one, i guess no bluetooth for u

Bluetooth dongles are avilable for 800-1000 bucks...try these....or if u can find the dipole antenna for a cheaper price...GOOD 4 U

Ok To Begin Win 98 Sucks For The Detection of The Data Cables Usually......Try Using The Provided Cable On Windows Xp It Detects The Cell and The Cable Without a Flaw......cause In my Previous Case My Usb Infra-Red Cable Used to Detect My Phone on win 98 but after sometime it stop Responding to it and even if it did it frequently Got Disturbed during File Transfers But When i swtiched to Xp Voilla All's Goin well now for me 8) (pssst This was a Advice given to me by a friend who owns a N-gage And Transfers his files Via The data cable provided over XP 8))
Well as for The Bluetooth i dun suppose Ur Mobo Has one......Get Urself a Dongle It would be better

ok
my friend buys a NGAGE (not qd)
he comes over to my house with the usb cable teh cd's et all
we try half an hour to make my pc recognize the phone
but my pc (win xp) says no way boss i dont know whats that
end result friend fed up geso back home with a heavy heart
but i bang shoot FF and type in the problem
15min into serching i found this
windows will recognize the phone "ONLY" after
you add in a mmc card to your phone
so my friend shelled out some 900 rs for a 128mb mmc
we tried a 256mb one but the phone started hanging (maybe not supporting 256mb)
so got a 128mb mmc
back to my house
got the usb wire
connected it to the pc
and voila
windows showed the phone as a portable storage device
