Which one would be a better technology to learn for the future.. .net or Java. Which has more features and flexibility and power? what does the industry use? wht r the pre requisites for each of them?

JAVA. It has greater demand and it can be run easily in any platform. Java was specially used for internet purpose but now today its increased popularity has made it come as a standalone program application also. .net specially used in windows platform. There ary many programmars who really cant stand .net.
