A computer lets you make more mistakes faster than any invention in human history - with the possible exceptions of handguns and tequila.
did you have power-cut during downloading of those files.
when NFS Cabon Demo came out, i was downloading that file, & when the download was @ 95%- power cut.
i selected "resume Download" from Opera, & it did get completed 100%.
but when i tried to open, "Error, cannot open file, the zip file may be damaged"
7 hours of waiting anxiously, gone waste.

^^ Time for someone to start using real torrent clients
As to the OP: Stop your download and right click on it. Choose "Force recheck". utorrent will check the file and if it find some errors then it will re-download the particular pieces (not the whole file). If utorrent does not find any error and yet your can't open the file then you have a fake at your hand.
in the torrent preferences check mark that appent ut! to unfinished downloads in this way you will find out that even when 1 piece of the file is missing... it dies sometimes show 100 % if only a small piece is missing..............
i remember once i downloaded few files with extra security setting so right click on the completed files to see properties if any of the files are locked and needed to be unlocked before opening it will show you extra settings tab when viewing its properties and click on unlock to unblock before using them.....
