-On what basis the popularity of a blog depends upon?
-Will Google adsense accept the applications from any type of blog?

Yes, This is what most blogger do, But don't copy the source completely.

What type of popuplarity? For many people it is quality of content.

Will Google adsense accept the applications from any type of blog?

Check adsense term, some type of sites they do not accept.

Can we mix the different types of topics?

This is your blog, you can do whatever you want, however it is better to focus on one subject.

By modifiying htaccess in paid hosting you can do that.
