Hi friends I want to know that can I use Kolkata SBI card for the verification process.How is the verification procedure carried out..

Is there any risk involved when giving credit card number on PayPal..

Please help me.

No risk involved... all needed is that u have the 3 digit verification code in ur card.. it is on the back side of the card...

i myself am from Kolkata and a verified paypal holder...

You can use any valid credit card for verification. But you need to receive bill for that card because the verification code will come in the credit card bill

Is there anything possible to recieve the amount without verification..such as through Xoom or cash2India..

Also after verification can I withdraw any denomination of the amount or it has to be equal or greater than $ 150..

You can..!! I've done it that way.. A 4 digit number appears before the transaction details.. Yiu have to enter that in the paypal site..

Verification.. as name says, it verify that you are genuine person and they do by getting a valid CC info.. bcz CC is issued only to genuie people (most of the time).
If your SBI CC provide instant transaction history then you can see that verification code there else wait for BILL of your CC to reach you physically.

Any CC which is acceptable worldwide can be used to verify !

Search around. I did this a few months ago. My account is verified.

But the limitation is that only paypal gets verified, you dont get the privelege of a Credit Card, which you can shop around. Here, you need to use your Paypal balance for cash transactions.

After giving the card information..and verifying it does we have to pay something to the bank (whose credit card we use)...when the monthly statement comes..

If paypal come to know that you are verified by VCC, they close the account and forfeit all money in the account.

Dont spurt blatant suggestions.

Paypal doesnt have any problem with VCC. There are people who use Gcards too. None of those a/c's will be closed or banned

Few days ago, a guy was banned in this forum for selling VCC. Credit card is used to verify the person, VCC does not serve that purpose.

I want to know that during verification by Paypal does their is any transcation with the CC..and then when I have the monthly statement I need to pay back the amount to the bank..Is there such cases..

yes u will have to pay 2.95 USD... i think that is the amount.. when u do a transaction ur CC will be changed that amt and it will be deposited in ur paypal account... u get tha statement put in the code given along the paypal transation and get verified... pay the bank that amount that is in ur paypal account that is 2.95USD

So u loose nothing... u pay ur CC bank 2.95USD and u get it back in ur paypal account which u can wothdraw when u have more fund in ur accont..

Yes, Paypal charges 1.95$ which are reversed later.

I dunno why you have doubts. Thats not one man company. Entire UK and USA online transactions are handled through Paypal so be rest assured

is there any possibility that they can freeze my account if I donot get verified in a specifiec time period..and what it can effect to my credit card..

Also is there any possibility of theft of credit card info..and they themselve using that..

As i said, they are no "kiddie" company. Whole of USA AND UK use it. Paypal Limits account -no doubt about that. But they will not keep your money. All they want is some info after which they re open the Account incase they limit the account.

If you donot verify your paypal account, you will have 100$ SENDING Limit which is very very less and 500$ a Month Withdrawal limit subject to a MAX of 3000$. Also you have less chance of winning a Paypal Buyer/seller Dispute in case that happens.

HEHE These companies spend millions on security experts and make Billiions out of it and some kid saying that i can "hack" is Total bullshit. This happens always because of END USER AND NOT COMAPNY because people have Keyloggers on their PC or fall for phishing site.

You can file a call back with CC company and they will reverse the money to you anytime
