Looks like a virus. Run a full system scan. If there is no virus then reinstall Yahoo Messenger. If even this doesn't solve the problem then keep a check in this post for an answer.

I doubt its a blaster worm...yeah it once happend to me also. rather than full system scan.....

Must Do !

1) Update Virus Protrection.

2) get Spy Boot (Google Search)

3) Reg Cleaner (-do-)

there r lots if i mention so..lets not create a zig zag in herere ... This is will keep fit and healthy of ur Buggy Computer .

I have faced a similar problem earlier. It can your Power Supply or Stabiliser as well. Have that checked.

if this thing is happening only when u r using internet then i m afraid it can be blaster worm. r u getting any sort of countdown in that message like: ur pc is gonna shutdown in 60->59->58 ....... seconds,if yes then this is surely blaster worm. i think it can due to temp. problem too as described by others. Check temp. too.

Hello murali ,

If this is not hardware problem Iam sure it is SASSER .

try this ---start--->RUN [win key+R] --->type ---shutdown -a

after shutdown please give a space .

Then go to Microsoft.com & dwnld

patch 4 SASSER .and scan ur computer

Have a nice day THILAK
