problem with access digit cd/dvd

I am new to this forum, kindly help to solve my problem:
I have celeron 1GHz 128 mb win 98SE/Win XP IE6,
My problem is when i tried to access cd/dvd in combo drive or cd rom I get only black (BLANK) screen with a squire in left corner, after "I AGREE" . when i right clik on it a pop up menu appear and i tried all option but all in vein? (2) when i surf internet some times i donot see some picture and only see a squire instead of picture, not all the times, only some times? please help.

try installing those divx and flash codecs that come with the digit cd & use browsers like firefox or opera as they r much safer and faster.

Install the Macromedia Flash Player from the Digit cd/dvd itself.Also install the shockwave player.You should not have any problem with IE.
