MOD Chips for Play Station-2

Hey guys

I hv heard abt Mod chips available for PS2 which wen installed into the circuitry of the console, can let u play PS2 games (PAL version i guess) purchased from the local roadstall (for Rs.100-150) also ??

Is it true, if yes then where can i hv this MOD chip installed?? I guess ALPHA in Mumbai does it ?? Please enlighten me...

Dunno abt alpha does it but certainly a shop in lami does it..will tell u abt alpha tomm

I don't know if they add that chip later on or not but the one i bought a few months ago already had one inside it. I guess you can also buy them modded directly.
Also pirated games don't cost 100-150. They cost 25 rupees in alfa, even latest titles like NFS Carbon.

Actually i already hv a PS2 (non modded) so wqas asking tat if they can install a MOD chip in my console, awating confirmed replies.. BTW thanx for u replies too guys

Yaa sure bro, i can wait till the 4th Please do tell me i will wait for ur reply as im in need for it, do take a bit more pain by askin him in detail about how the process of installing the MOD chip goes, are there any drawbacks too ??
