Default msmsgs.exe.Dll initialization failed


recently wile shutting down my pc following message appears for a second or two before the system shuts off.

msmsgs.exe.DLL initialization failed to initialize because the windows station is shutting down.

i am using win xp professional with sp2.

can someone help to get rid this annoying message each time before shut down?

hmmm
what version of msn messenger are u using ?
or are u using windows messenger ?
remove windows messenger from add/remove programs => windows messenger
get the latest version of msn messenger
and install it
or look in this months digit

thanks for the advice.after following your advice,at the time of shut down another message appears as below

dwwin.exe D0LL intitialization failed to initialize becuase the windows station is shutting down. what is it and how to get rid?

DwWin.exe is DrWatson,an error checking tool for Windows.u can disable it safely to avoid this error.
