Sony makes the best crt displays in the world. You can choose from anyone of the Sony Wega range that fits your budget. Visit www.sonyindia.co.in for more details.

SONY is a good choice. The only drawback is its price. It is expensive when compared to other brands. SO you end up paying more for less features. LG offers best features with decent price tag. I recommend LG Flatron 29FC81RB.

i recently read a review/comparo on the net
it said if u r willin to not go with the slim one---then the best in performance is philips 29" for 25400(dont remember the price corrrectly it may be 26k)
if u want a slim one then u should go for the samsung one it costs a little more 27k but it is one of the slimmest crts available & it is as good as philips
kiran suggests lg flatron but lg came 4th in that review
one thing u should take care of is the refresh rates many of todays slim crts have a refresh rate of 50 hz which makes the screen flicker go for 100 hz nothin less
by the way sony came 3rd in the test

I think LG is providing more features like s video etc, so better value for money than Sony.
Anyway let me go to shop nd check whether the screens flickering.
