my control key is working like a monster.......

Sometimes when I press my ctrl key for 6 second’s or more of my keyboard (I’m using a laptop). The windows started to behave amazingly; tremendously the cursor disappears & starts to open different windows without my permission. It opens volume information box, start up menus (5 or 6) & folders like my pictures & my music too. This act stops after 1 min when my desktop is full of unwanted items & It goes back to its normal behavior after 3 or 4 min.

Can u plzz tell me why this is going to happen with me??? Is this is any effect of spyware or keylogger. I have already installed Norton internet security 2006, Avg and Avast antivirus on my system.

If this is going due to any virus…..plzz help me to destroy it.

one question have u installed Norton internet security 2006, Avg and Avast together on ur PC. If so then first uninstall two of them because no one will be working correctly if u have got two or three of them together

I dunno about your "Ctrl" problem, but as @Nishant said

Dont put Three AV's at a time. if you want the best security, then install ZoneAlarm (or)Comodo Firewall (free/paid), & a good Anti Virus, like AVG, Active Virus Shield (AVS) [free] (<-Kaspersky based AV)

There are some Accessibility settings in Windows which get activated when u press some key multiple times or hold them for long .... check that in the control panel...

but don't u guys think that 3 a's give me extra security coz i have readed in sum books that one antivirus is not a complete solution for today time & that's y i have insatalled 3 antiviruses at a time........wat u think??????

most prob ur ctrl key works as a 'function key' for extended operations using keyboards.. jusk like buttons on keyboard for play/pause,volume,word,homepage,search,sys info...

they must be getting activated when u press other keys like may be 'p' for play and 'h' for home after u activate that feature with the ctrl key...

my laptop has a similar button but it is labeled 'Fn' for function and then followed by it if i press the appropriate key i can start lots of stuff...

3 av will make your system working unstable, there can be constant shutdown or hangups...just think about all trying to do the same stuff and nobody doing it well but u can put a couple of Firewalls if u wish
