Default DVD to DivX

I have ripped a DVD using DVD Decrypter. Now, how can I convert the ripped files to the DivX or XviD format to save HDD space ???

Use AutoGK. A tutorial on how to use it can be found at www.doom9.org

You can use VirtualDub mpeg2 to convert it to Xvid provided you have the Xvid codec or some bundle like Klite Mega codec pack (see this months cds) installed.

Use DivX converter or DR.DivX for converting to DivX format. It also gives you an option of merging many video files into a single DivX file with menu.

If u want a one-stop solution, the best out there has to the simple but effective Ashampoo Movie Shrink & Burn. It even gives u a target output size!!! If u want to convert the file to 700mb... just type in the size and it follows ur orders to the dot. But... ya... it costs 50$. U have a month trial offer though...
