Default Old Machine Problems


I am using an old 486 machine. i have lost all the drivers of soung and display. i do not know the make of the sound and display drivers. where can i find it's drivers. any other solution for it please help.

Open up your machine, take out the display and sound cards, and look at the main chips on the cards. The chip (IC) number is usually printed on it.

Once the chip type is known, the appropriate drivers can usually be found on the net. Even if the specific card manufacturer cannot be identified, a generic driver for the chip is usually good enough.

Single free site for all driver needs is www.driverguide.com ; just have to register for free and you can download any driver ; they have a good database collection; for all OS.

Plus you should have a Driver Utility program like "My Drivers" or something for auto driver retrieval and backup.
