Riva tnt2 driver problem

Hi,
My friend has a P4 1.5 GHz, 128 MB ram and mostprobably 845 mobo. and a tnt2 card. the problem is that he has to install the drivers every time win98 loads. everytime the pc boots, the device manger shows that the drivers are not installed for tnt2 card. He loads the driver, then again when he restarts the system, same problem arises. what cud be the problem?

Has he disabled the OnBoard Graphics in BIOS?
