controlling PC from my TV tuner remote

Is there any program which can be used to control some basic operation like volume control using my adcom TV tuner card(internal) remote control. Our can somebody tell me how to handle inputs frm my TV tuner cards IR reciver module in VB6

have you checked pc remote for 121 link check that is really easy to build and i hope you can do with that
